What is Contour Injection?

Contour injection (윤곽주사) is a Korean treatment in which a fat-reducing solution is injected into small areas where fullness blurs the face line, such as the lower cheeks, jowls and under the chin. Unlike masseter Botox, which relaxes muscle, it works on the soft fatty layer. The clinic offers a standard contour injection and its own Holjjukrin injection.

How it works

The doctor first checks whether the fullness comes from fat, muscle or sagging skin. Small amounts of solution are then injected with a fine needle into the fatty areas, where they help reduce fat volume and puffiness over the following weeks, so the change is gradual. If the jaw muscle is part of the cause, masseter Botox may be added; for the body there is a separate fat-dissolving injection.
