English-speaking skin clinic in Daegu
How booking, consultation, pricing and aftercare work for English-speaking patients at JRYN Clinic Daegu on Dongseong-ro, step by step.
What English support looks like
For international patients, WhatsApp is the main English channel . Messages go to the clinic team at +82-10-5573-7574 , and you can write whenever it suits you, from home or from your hotel. The team replies in English with treatments that may suit your concern and an estimate in won, so you know what to expect before you travel.
The chat also becomes your written record: options, estimates and your appointment time stay in one thread you can scroll back to. If you are already in Korea and would rather talk, phone consultations with clinic staff are also offered; ask on WhatsApp to arrange one.
The clinic also offers multilingual translation support . If any part of the consultation would be easier in another language, or you are booking for a family member who does not speak English, say so when you book.
Before you arrive: what to send
A clear first message saves a lot of back and forth. Include:
- What you would like to improve, for example sagging, pigmentation, redness, acne scars, pores or dull skin
- Two or three clear photos in natural light, without filters and ideally without makeup
- Your dates in Daegu and the day you fly home or travel on
- Any recent treatments such as fillers, threads or lasers, plus medication, allergies or pregnancy
- The days and times you could come in
The reply suggests options and gives an estimate in Korean won. Treatments are priced by the amount used, such as shots, cc, units or areas, and prices on the clinic's list do not include VAT. Monthly offers change, so ask for today's price. Nothing is fixed until the doctor has seen your skin. More on this in how pricing works.
How a visit works
- Arrive: take Daegu Metro Line 1 to Jungangno Station, leave by Exit 2 and walk about 3 minutes to 20 Dongseong-ro, opposite the ZARA store.
- Register: tell reception your name and that you booked on WhatsApp. Keep your passport or another photo ID with you.
- Consult: a 1:1 consultation with the doctor, who examines your skin, asks about your goals and explains which options fit your skin and your schedule.
- Confirm: the device or product, the amount, the expected downtime and the total are confirmed with you before anything starts.
- Treat: treatment follows the plan you agreed, in a separate treatment room, with numbing cream where the treatment calls for it.
- Aftercare: you leave with aftercare advice for the rest of your trip. Checking how your skin changes after treatment is part of the JRYN protocol.
Communication tips
Short, clear sentences and photos work well on both sides. For a detailed medical history, a translation app such as Papago can help. In the consultation, ask the doctor to point out on a mirror exactly where they plan to treat, or to repeat the amount and total so you can note them down.
After you fly home
Results from many treatments build over days or weeks, and questions often come up once you are home. Message the clinic on WhatsApp in English, with a photo if something worries you. Japanese-speaking patients can do the same on LINE (@046exsya). Our guide to aftercare before you fly home explains how to time treatment around your flight.
