Treatments with little or no downtime
On a short trip, downtime matters as much as the result. These treatments at JRYN Clinic Daegu usually let you carry on with your plans the same day, and the tables below show which ones need a few days.
What "no downtime" really means
Downtime is the time your skin looks or feels treated: redness, swelling, small bumps, pinpoint marks or scabs. "No downtime" doesn't mean nothing happens. Many treatments leave mild redness for a few hours. It means most people go straight back to sightseeing, shopping or dinner. It also depends on your skin, the amount used and the areas treated, so the figures below are typical ranges, not promises. Questions? See hours & contact or ask on WhatsApp.
Little or no downtime
| Treatment | Typical downtime | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium Lifting | None | Often booked near the end of a trip, for a fresh look on the way home |
| Onda Lifting | Nothing to recover from for most people | Microwave tightening for the lower face; priced by energy delivered, in joules |
| Shurink Universe | Usually nothing visible | Sessions short enough to fit around a busy day |
| Ultherapy Prime | Usually none; the jaw may feel tender | The lift develops over roughly two to three months |
| Thermage FLX | Light flushing that fades within hours | Usually planned once a year |
| InMode Forma & FX | Possible brief redness only | Forma for firmness, FX for small fat pockets |
| Pico Toning | Mild redness for a few hours | Usually a course, 1–2 weeks apart |
| Wrinkle Botox | Minimal; tiny bumps fade within an hour | Avoid lying face-down for about four hours |
| Masseter (Square Jaw) Botox | Little; chewing may feel weaker for a few weeks | Repeat about every 4–6 months |
| Skin Botox | Small bumps for a few hours | Leave makeup off for a few hours |
| LDM Smart | None | Calming and hydrating; fits any day of your trip |
| Aqua Peel | None; any pinkness fades quickly | Skip makeup for a few hours if you can |

How to plan around your trip
Put anything that leaves scabs, crusts or marks at the start of your stay, so it has time to settle before photos and your flight. Keep the last day or two for treatments with nothing to recover from, such as LDM Smart, Aqua Peel or Titanium Lifting. Botox is worth booking early as well: there is little to see afterwards, but the effect builds over several days, so you will see it before you leave. If you would like two treatments, the doctor decides whether they can be combined in one visit and in which order, taking your dates into account.
Low downtime doesn't mean low effort on your part. For a few days, skip saunas, jjimjilbang and very hot baths, go easy on alcohol, avoid hard exercise after injectables and use sunscreen, especially if you are walking around Dongseong-ro or the old town alleys. More on that in aftercare before you fly home.
How these treatments are priced
Lifting is priced by the amount: Ultherapy Prime by shots (for example 300, 600 or 1,000), Thermage FLX by shots (300, 600 or 900), Onda by the energy delivered, in joules, and Titanium by kJ. Boosters are priced by cc, and wrinkle or jaw Botox by toxin type and number of sessions, with domestic, high-purity domestic and imported toxins. Prices are quoted in Korean won, do not include VAT and are confirmed by the doctor before treatment. Ask on WhatsApp for today's price, or see how pricing works.
