Helios III Laser Toning in Dongseong-ro, Daegu
Q-switched Nd:YAG laser toning with 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths, used for melasma, deeper pigment, uneven tone and pores.
What is Helios III Laser Toning?
Helios III is a high-powered Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. In toning mode it is run at low, even energy over the whole face, a technique long used in Korea for melasma and dull tone; at other settings it can also treat tattoos.
How it works
Nanosecond pulses at 1064 nm reach pigment deep in the dermis, while 532 nm targets pigment nearer the surface. With four toning modes, the doctor can adjust how the energy is delivered to suit your skin, breaking pigment down gradually while sparing the surrounding tissue. When redness and pigment appear together, it can be combined with Excel V.
